Summary: This is a great post containing a list of some of the most expensive cars of 2013
If you think regular cars for everyday consumers are expensive, wait until you read the list below of some of the most expensive cars in the world this year. These cars are sports cars and luxury cars that you can’t get near unless you have millions at your disposal. But even if you aren’t able to afford these incredible vehicles, it doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy them from afar, as they certainly are lookers.
From the fastest to the most expensive vehicles on the market, below is a list of three that will give you an idea of what the very top of the automobile industry looks like. And there’s more where these came from.
Priced at $2.4 million, this car is also the fastest car in the world, able to reach speeds up to 431 km/h. It takes under 10 seconds to travel just under half a kilometre. Built with an 8.0-Liter W-12 Quad-Turbocharged engine, it has a lot of power that can get you places very quickly. Finding the open roads where you can really take advantage of this car’s speed is the first problem. Making sure you can properly manoeuvre a vehicle at such high speeds is your second. But for those with the money and who can take their cars to an open track for speeding on, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is certainly a car to behold.
While the W Motors Lykan Hypersport may not be the fastest car currently on the market, able to reach speeds of about 394 km/h, it is indeed the most expensive car available this year, priced at $3.4 million. This is the first supercar to be released by W Motors and they surprised everyone with this vehicle and its price tag. In terms of luxury, this car is top-notch, and a little absurd in some ways. This isn’t your typical luxury sports car with the price tag most people on this planet will never be able to touch; W Motors took luxury to a whole new level here. Perhaps it is the gold-plated hood, diamond covered headlights, or the leather seats with gold stitching, but this car seems to be manufactured purposely for the most self-indulgent rich people in the world.
Lamborghini is a name synonymous with speed and those strange doors that open upwards rather than out. This car has a carbon fibre exterior, which is a highly durable and light material, and components in the dashboard are housed in a structure created from an aluminium block and covered in still more carbon fibre for added protection. Regardless of appearance, you can certainly get a thrill in this car, with speeds reaching 340 km/h. Coming in at $1.6 million, this sports car is not as expensive as some others currently on the market, but the Lamborghini name will always remain popular among car enthusiasts who have a lot of money to spend on these unique vehicles.
