Short Summary: A deep clean for your car? Well why not? You don't hesitate to have a good soak especially if you have been doing a task which left you dirty such as gardening.
A deep clean for your car? Well why not? You don’t hesitate to have a good soak especially if you have been doing a task which left you dirty such as gardening or DIY. It’s also quite a general routine for furniture and carpets even though we rarely observe the old fashioned Spring Clean routine.
For commercial premises, we would expect nothing less. At hotels you get to sleep in beds only just vacated by earlier guests. True they are protected by mattress covers but these are hopefully removed and fully laundered each time.
Commercial kitchens get a deep clean on a regular basis. This should be daily. Many restaurant or hotel kitchens have a team that comes in and deep cleans their kitchens overnight when they aren’t in use.
So whether you are ultra-proud of your four wheels or whether your car is used for commercial purposes, a deep clean valet is a must. Car detailing to give it its correct name can clean every ‘nook and cranny’.
Like all services of this nature though there are a variety of packages available for car-proud owners. These vary from a simple wash to a full car detailing valet. There are even bespoke options if you want or need something special or out of the ordinary attended to.
Sir Elton John famously auctioned off 20 cars from his collection some 12 years ago. They all had to look immaculate to fetch good prices so they no doubt had the deep clean treatment. Cars included Rolls Royce’s, Jaguars, Bentley, Ferraris and Aston Martins. Almost £2 million was raised from their sales. Keeping that fleet squeaky clean must have cost a bomb but then we all know Elton John can afford the odd indulgence. Now Sir Elton John prefers to be driven!
Bey once has been spotted in a vintage, soft top Rolls Royce with JayZ. We hope she’s looking after this old babe.
To say that racing driver Lewis Hamilton is used to driving fast cars is something of an understatement. However this year he commissioned a Pagini Zonda 760LH. These cars are no longer in general production and are only available as commissions. Its spec sounds pretty special; we hope Lewis remembers the UK roads aren’t built like a race track.
John Lennon’s 1965 Ferrari which he owned at the height of Beatles’ fame, has just been auctioned. It raised £360K at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this month. Still looked in fine shape too.
Scottish actor Gerard Butler doesn’t do flashy so his choice of car is a Range Rover.
For Ralph Lauren a designer at the top of his game, it’s a Ruf CT-3 part of a range by Porsche Cayman. Absolutely fitting (no pun intended).
You’d expect nothing less than an Aston Martin from James Bond. Daniel Craig has succumbed to the style of the hero he’s played with a V12 Vantage Roadster.
It doesn’t matter if you aren’t flashy enough to be recognised wherever you go. Or whether your dream is to own a car that makes heads turn. Keep your car looking pristine and maintain it well and remember car detailing covers all you need to keep your car looking shiny and new.
Rob Rudd has been known to clean bird poo off his car using a wire scourer. He wasn't very popular for this. If your car is your pride and joy - he recommends looking for a local car detailing service instead.
